ABOUT AZURE
MUSIC AZ YOU ARE
Azure Music was launched in 2006 by owner and founder Vanessa Diehl after she completed the Music Performance Diploma program at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, AB. In addition to her extensive musical training (classical, jazz and world music), Vanessa is a trained drum circle facilitator with almost 20 years experience in music instruction and music performance.
Today, Azure operates as Azure Drumming and Azure Ensembles, both solely operated by Vanessa.
As a homeschooling mom herself, Vanessa created Azure Ensembles to allow homeschool youth the opportunity to learn music in a group setting, just like her fond memories of the school band room when she was young. Registration is now open for classes in Edmonton, Stony Plain and Sherwood Park!
